Help Us Create a Community of Support
Oregon’s changing economic landscape has not been kind to
everyone. The need for the Portland Impact’s work will continue well into
the future, in both strong and weak economic times.
Portland Impact is a nonprofit organization under Section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations to our
agency are 100 percent tax-deductible. Below are some of
the ways you can give:

- Make a donation with your credit card over the
phone (Contact Scott Shlaes, Director of Development, at

- Send a check, cash, or money order to:

- Make a planned gift donation.
- Make a donation of
securities.
- Join the Friends of
Portland Impact (FOPI), a growing group of
committed donors who have pledged to support our
community through annual gifts of $1,000 or more.
- Have your employee match your gift through your
company's Matching Gift Program.
- Contribute through the United Way
Donor's Choice option by selecting Portland Impact on your
enrollment form at your place of
employment. (We ask that you request acknowledgement so we
can thank you for your gift.)

special benefits not only to Portland Impact but also to you and your family:

In-kind donations

Impact gladly accepts in-kind donations of:
New or gently
used clothing for children and adults
New or gently
used household items like pots & pans and small kitchen appliances
New or gently
used sheets, comforters, blankets, towels & linens
Non-perishable
food items
Furniture in
good condition*
Vehicles
Gift drive
items (select times of the year that include coats, gloves,
blankets, school supplies & hygiene kits)
Gently used
medical equipment including walkers, wheelchairs, canes & guide
rails
*We accept
furniture that is good condition depending on their size due to our
storage space. For furniture delivery or pick up arrangements
please contact Jill Morrow at 503-988-4996 x265.
Because our
clients are often in crisis and have specific needs, we need to use
our limited storage space for necessities only. For
that reason, we cannot accept donations of:
Infant car
seats
Soiled or torn
clothing
Toys
Home décor
Knick knacks
Most Appliances

We accept donations Monday-Friday
9:00am-5:00pm at our Dancing Tree Family Center located at
