Responsible for providing outreach, parent support & education,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives and responds to requests for parent education and child
development services including the provision of initial
assessments, assistance in accessing appropriate services and
service coordination.

Assists Parent-Child Specialist II's in planning and
implementing parent-child interactive groups for children ages
birth to five years based on recommended Best Practices,
including set up, clean up and direct facilitation of the
groups.

Provides life skills training and support designed to encourage
healthy child development; includes home visits, information and
referral, role modeling of accepted parenting practices and
development of community support systems.

activities and staff. Programs are designed to support families
with children ages prenatal to five and include Parent Child
Development Services (PCDS), Comprehensive Parent Child Project (CPCP),

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with Program Supervisors in the selection, training,
supervision and evaluation of program staff in compliance with
Portland Impact and contractor personnel policies and
procedures.
